I get a few of those every time I drive down to Florida from Canada, I am doing 80 MPH in a 70 MPH zone and there still up my a@@, that would be great to see a red neck get his Karma like that LOL.

They're everywhere down here (FL) and they become ever more dangerous because of the heavy traffic this time of year. The last three times, over the past two weeks, I have been on I 4 between Lakeland and Tampa, one or both, east and west bound traffic were completely shut down because of driving like this.

Time to go north.

I wonder why the lady stayed in the left lane after she passed the truck, if she had gone over to the right lane as she should have, nothing would have happened.

She was doing 55 in a 50,and he still wouldn't back off.

I'm on the woman's side in this case but I have a personal opinion. If you're barely passing a vehicle with traffic behind you, either speed up a little to get by or slow down a little and move over to let others by. In other words, if it takes you a mile to pass someone, adjust your speed.

I was driving home from work last night in a 55mph zone....I had the cruise control on 57mph and the person behind me <span style="font-style: italic">wasn't</span> using the 2 second rule....so I bumped it up to 62mph....same result. I came up to a stop sign. After stopping I only accelerated to 51mph. When he/she caught up to me, they passed me, after that, I put the cruise back to 57 and all was good.

I think the point is he should've slowed down,not try to out run or challenge her.
Yes she was filming his bad behavior while driving,but stopped her car afterwards to call the police &amp; show them what happened.

Don't know what happened leading up to this.
It is the law in all 50 states. If you are not passing someone or have another reason (someone is entering on an on ramp or there is a vehicle on the right shoulder, etc.), you should be in the right lane.

You see signs everywhere &quot;slower traffic keep right&quot;.

Some people like travelling left lane just to piss off others.

I think that is what Jan was referrering to. In Europe drivers actually get ticketed for making people pass on the right.

It looked to me like she easily could have moved over but chose to further piss the guy off instead. Cite them both.

I can see your point,but I say take a deep breath &amp; slow down to him.
He fled the crash scene afterwards as that lady stopped &amp; called the police as he's been in trouble with the Fla. police before.
She stayed in the left lane to turn left into a shopping center coming up.
..and it's legal in the state of Florida to tape with your cell phone while driving.

Usually people get upset like that when someone won't move over even though they can. That appears to me like a perfect example. If she had moved over instead of filming him and her speedometer he probably wouldn't have wrecked his truck. Yes he is a idiot but I think she is also to blame for the wreck and luckily nobody got hurt. Maybe she was going to turn into the shopping center or maybe that is a good story to justify why she wouldn't move over. The whole filming thing makes me suspicious. How long was she in his way before she started filming ?

But.... why not just move over?
Slower traffic keep right.
Glad to hear NJ tickets left lane bandits.
Traffic would move much more smoothly with proper lane usage.

I think both of these idiots are at fault. Automobiles are not playthings and most people are far worse drivers than they think they are. Tailgaters are extremely annoying, almost to the level of texters, but playing on the highway is too dangerous. Just move over. I have followed people to a safe place to have a word with them, but thats about it.

Maybe she learned to drive here in Ohio, most of the left lane hogs are here, and now there texting too.
Another thing to take away from that video is that a PU truck is not a car, could be part of the reason he lost it ?

What irritates me is the drivers that either pass on the right on the freeway or use the right lanes to speed. They do this because the police or troopers usually are running radar/laser in the medians. This is stupid, like they think that they can't be seen speeding in these lanes... Dumb...

I agree with Charley, it looks like that woman could have moved over into the right lane but it is apparent that she was screwing with him because she was recording the incident. Still does not excuse this guy's behavior though...
