Re: Does anyone know this car?
The ad reads nicely and it's not new on the scene, mentioned in past threads here also sold @ the 1995 BJ Scottsdale sale.

Wow! Another Brewers car like ZL1 # 57

Re: Does anyone know this car?
I have known this car since the late 80's. Got to know it when Ray Hurst was the owner. At that time car was all original including the drive train. I believe that the listing on the auction site is very accurate.
Also very happy to here that the Hurst family is bringing it back home. Congratulations to both Ray and Van Hurst. I know that both of you must be very happy. Grady |

Re: Does anyone know this car?
Did most copo chevelles come with the bow tie or ss emblem on the steering wheel? I noticed this one had the ss.

Re: Does anyone know this car?
Ray and Van
Hope you have your ears on, will we see you guys at the Chevelle show in Strongsville ? Very happy to see you back with this car. Mike |
Re: Does anyone know this car?
Thanks everyone. It means a lot to us to get the car back home. Thanks to Grady (1969grb) for your support. It means the world to us.
Brent396, Robert is my uncle (my dad's brother) I've heard him mention you several times. He also likes telling the story of getting you the dealership memorabilia. We will be outfitting our car with the same Brewer's license plate that it had on it some 25 years ago. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to get our cars together one day. Van |
Re: Does anyone know this car?
Thanks Mike. I plan on having the car at Strongsville, and a couple more shows. But my first plan is to get it home, let it sit in its old spot in my dad's garage for a while

Congrats on getting her back.
Last time I saw your Dad was @ SuperChevy Indy in 2001. Here's a few of your Dad car pooling his Fathom blue 1970 SS396 chevelle convertible @ Atlanta NCOA back in 1995. Noticed the Brewers Inc. plate on it then too. |

Van </div></div> Van , I met your dad once. I bought a set of 186 heads off Robert about 4 years ago for my 302. They don't come any nicer than Ray or Robert. Mike |
