That one has me puzzled. They must want to sell more Corvettes and ZL1's

Love things like the light weight glass. Hate the fact that small ring gears stay and live because of torque management and other electronic limiters. For 75k there are a lot of expectations for special equipment!

Re: New Z/28

Apparently this is the REAL heir apparent of the '69 ZL1-the one where special development costs must all be repaid in the sales in the first 69 units built.......

Re: New Z/28

GM had one on display @ MCACN. It is very much a purpose built car. It is designed as a track ready car. Any one who want to open up a can of whoop a$$ on some of the other sports cars out there, with an off the showroom car, then this is a viable weapon.

This is not intended to be a high volume / sales Camaro.

It has been reported that Rick Hendrick won the auction for the right to purchase the first car available to the public. His winning bid was $650,000. Pocket change to a guy like Hendrick.

Re: New Z/28

It was kind of Lillard to let him win the final bid.

I was surprised not to see Charley setting between Rick Hendrick and Ron Pratt!!

....Hendrick also grabbed a Sox & Martin 68 Hemi Barricuda for = $180,000. Seems like a Super Deal to me. Hendrick said he watched Ronnie 'row the 4-speed' in SW VA as a youth and just had to have the car.

I'll take the Boss 302 Mustang over the new Z28 based on price alone.

The 2014 Z/28 Aero is gonna have a flowtie on the front grill opposed to the traditional bowtie to improve air flow? Wonder what GM is gonna mark up the sticker for that option lol

Correct on the 'flowtie'....

Cost = $0.00

Ask me how I know......

Yep, #386 took delivery last Monday. Summit White, Black leather Recaros, A/C with up-graded Juke box. Currently setting in our mutual friend's museum - Floyd Garrett.

How do I attach photos? Help please.....

Peddle one Kurt - It's worth every nickel of the $75K MSRP

Thanks Charley, trying to get photobucket to work. In the mean time go to:
http://forums.gmmgregistry.com
Then community lounge and click 'New Z28 in the way'.

It sure did!.. . Go to Youtube.com - type in '2014 Z28 Camaro'. Lots of road test and comparisons there.

BTW, there is one on the showroom floor @ Crews Chevrolet in N. Charleston, SC.

You don't need photobucket to post pics here. I host them. Upload straight from your computer by clicking the 5th box from the left.
