Re: Garage scene
The red Dart is a 1970 Swinger. My grandfather ordered it for my grandmother. He did a lot of work for the local Dodge dealer. At one point Buck McCurry offered him a job with Chrysler and pap did not take it. I have the window sticker and original sales agreement. It is a 318. It was repainted around 1983 along with a new top and Pennsylvania classic tags put on it, which are now in my name. We have not used it in 2 years. The last time it was out My wife flipped the odometer over to 27k. It is a very nice running, driving car and will always be my grandmothers car. The 55 Chevy is a Two Ten hardtop, a mid year car with a mid year color of Navajo tan and india ivory. Also a mid year tan and whit interior.

I don't have any "cool" man cave areas but here is my wall of intakes purchased over the years. Should have collected baseball cards or something. Easier to store. Excuse the mess.

Re: Garage scene
That's the wall art I like. I have always loved FE Fords. One mans junk is another mans gold. I pretty much always see gold. I know you are always looking for oddball and obscure things like I do. GREAT

My last addition to the wall was this. I've always wanted one but now I have to find the other single carb top for it.

Re: Garage scene
I saw one a few months back. That was the first one I saw. It may have been on Ebay. Really cool I have a Holley tunnel ram carb that I had to contact them to find out what is was for. It never had a choke/holes in the air horn. My fascination began 3 barrel Holleys and cross ram intakes. I had a Mickey Thompson years ago. Always wanted to get a Smoke Ram.

Re: Garage scene
I used to really enjoy building models. I don't know why I stopped.

Re: Garage scene
If you are like me, you ran out of extra time and started building the real thing. I built around 40 muscle car models and had them displayed very nicely in a case that is all packed away in storage now. Building models really got me interested in cars and was part of the reason I learned so much about all the major makers and cars. That knowledge lead me into working at a drag strip for 16 years. Out of that I met many VERY GOOD people. Learned a lot about racing, built my own car and raced. Now I work on 3 other race cars, as well as doing restoration and performance work for other people. Model cars are a great place to start. You never know where it will lead you.

Here is a SUN 200 tune up tester I restored this fall after purchasing it used at the Monroe (Seattle) swap meet.(Strip, prime, paint, polish, plate, clean, wire, decal, caster rbld, top pad, clean lens, etc) very fun project and makes my garage scene,,,,the Hammered (Metalic SUN blue paint) was difficult to source. Funny material to shoot.
