Tom is correct the top has been sprayed red. The door lettering has FRED GIBB on it now.
Instead of courtesy. The car runs and drives. Would make a great cackle car. Or stick it in your living room!!

I removed the pics and sent you a pm awhile back when I did it but you don't seem to come on the site so I deleted the content of the pm and assumed the issue quietly went away. The pics of the car as posted are what probably caused most trouble this site has ever had. Alot of hard feelings and lost friendships. My understanding is the car no longer has the same lettering on it now so maybe you can take current pics and post them so a potential buyer sees it as it is.

This will be my last attempt to lightheartedly keep this thread here. The use of the Dick Harrell name on the car is the sore spot and we all know it. I have painted the name off of it. I don't need any crap stirred up especially at Xmas time.

Was told that Jim did not have the valve covers made, but rather some one gave them to him. Would be interesting to know the history behind them. Former Gibb race car...Gibb Nova...???

I talked to Jim a couple days ago and he told me a guy walked into his shop and gave them to him. I also thought he had them made. It would be nice to know what they came off of.
