Are these anything special?
Thanks, Nick |
Re: Help Identifying Headers
Looks like a set of Appliance BlackJack headers -- not too bad but don't go crazy tightening the flange against the head or you'll bend them ... some were only 1/4" material. The TAZ

Re: Help Identifying Headers
Thanks TAZ, think they are worth $40?
|
Re: Help Identifying Headers
They look like the set that was at Maple Grove a few weeks ago.

Re: Help Identifying Headers
Might have been a similar set, but these are located in the Midwest.

Re: Help Identifying Headers
Yes -- their worth $40 ... look to be pretty solid. Have you any idea or does the seller know what they fit?

Re: Help Identifying Headers
He's listed them for a first gen Camaro. Thought they'd look neat on mine, different than any of the 'new' headers on the market.
Looks like they have a few dings in them, character I guess. |
Re: Help Identifying Headers
Part number should be on a flange somewhere..how the drivers side runs out at the bottom appears Corvette??

Re: Help Identifying Headers
Those separate tube header flanges can be a real pain-in-the-azz sometimes . . . . .

Re: Help Identifying Headers
I was looking around trying to identify an old set of headers and found this:

Re: Help Identifying Headers
These may NOT be F Body First Gen..... The distance from the collector to the top of the tubes looks to short.
They actually look more like C1-C2 Vette SB....especially with the shorter header tubes & collectors. Typically 67-69 SB Headers had longer tubes..27 inches to 34 inches along with long collectors. First gen Vettes 56-62 V8's had a lower engine, frame C/L....therefore shorter & lower in height over all dimensions.......Hope this Helps... |
