1967 RS Z28
16 Attachment(s)
67 RS Z28 completely restored with a experimental aluminum engine. Also includes the CE warranty engine on a dolly. Protecto plate. Ca. car sold new in Fresno. There is a thread here from when I picked it up before resto. Orig. trans, rear and CE replacement block. Orig trim tag. Bolero Red with black deluxe interior, black vinyl top, wood wheel, tach, guages, Cowl plenum air cleaner, power steering, rear speaker, fold down seat, rear antenna, rare headrest seats and shoulder harness seatbelts. These are options that came on this car from the factory. The aluminum Chevrolet engine did not come with this car from the factory. It is something I had and wanted a cool car to put it in. The car is beautiful and runs like a top. It can be seen at this years MCACN next weekend in our Z28 display. 150K.

Sorry. That's a deal killer. Guess I'll put the checkbook away. Didn't need another cookie cutter resto anyway (wink). Nice car Charley. |

Good grief, that car is just beautiful.
Of the original 602, how many were RS optioned? Nice garage, too. |

Good story on the engine?
Nice garage and great car |
Re: 1967 RS Z28
The engine pieces came out of Michigan when GM closed a R&D shop.

Re: 1967 RS Z28
Yes. I got those plates years ago on a 70 Z28 I bought from a guy here in town. He bought the 70 Z new and was the first to ever have those plates.

Hi, Charley: Wow. One of the best Z/28's I've ever seen! Can't wait to see it at the MCACN show. I read the article in the MCACN magazine. Stower's car ain't bad either. I've wanted a '67 or '68 Z/28 forever. Maybe next life. I saw a few of your cars in Colin Comer's book - that book was great reading. If I ever did get any cash together, do you think you could help me find an original drivetrain, documented, original panel '68 RS Z/28? Fred Gustat |
