It was an over-the-counter option you could buy at your Chevy dealer and have them install or install yourself. Hard to make yourself saw that hole in the firewall of a rust free car nowadays though!

The car sounds amazing! Any idea if that is the stock cam? I know my L72-427 back in the day was not that radical.

It's Not Exactly Stock ...ha ha

No idler as stated. ..I may add in the future...right now...just driving it. Thanks for kind words
