Vintage "Day 2" M&H Racemaster 8.00/8.50-14 slicks
 

I've had this cool old pair of narrow 14" bias-ply slicks in my basement since 2005. They are 8.00/8.50-14...a tough size to find, and the perfect size for the back of a Camaro, Nova, or Chevelle. (They'll fit most stock wheelhouses with no rubbing!) I bought them for my Deuce, but put them downstairs and never used them... in fact the old shipping labels are still on them. They are 60's/early 70's vintage. They are pliable and have good beads, but have some mild cracking on the edges so obviously these are for static display only, not for the track. I haven't cleaned them up at all, and there's a little overspray on them and a whole lot of dirt... but cleaned up and mounted on a set of Cragars, Motorwheels, D spoke mags, slots, or even XT steelies they would look awesome.

Nice slicks! I just bought a pair of 9.00/9.50 and had them shipped from the west coast. Great thing about the ones Joe has here is they are at home on a 14x6 wheel. All those wheels mentioned are on ebay now in 14x6 configs! Nothing beats an authentic set of wheels and tires! GLWTS

all vintage slicks should run tubes. I bet you could drive these to any local show you would like to attend. Don White and I have driven many miles on "good" old slicks with never a problem. I run around 25 lbs of air and never had any issues.
