1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 396 4-speed survivor
Not mine, but I stumbled upon this incredible Impala. The owner told me that he has reduced the price below his appraised value because it still has the original paint... REALLY? Looks like a nice fat chevy for someone to pursue.

Looks like a decent car. Based on the overspary on the drivers wheel well at least that Fender has probably been painted.

That's the problem with this society in general. Hurry, hurry, slop some paint on, get it sold fast.

Re: 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 396 4-speed survivor
Does any one know how much trouble it is to get a car back to the us from canada. Thats a cool car . I spoke to the guy and he doesn't seem to know to much about the car. He says he was told its the orig motor. I asked him about the paint and he says it all orig. but we all know something happened around the left fender. L78m22rag how far are you from the car. Thanks Kerry

The border is a non issue. Millions of dollars a day cross between the borders, the paper work in order is all that matters. Get a broker pay the 400.00 + fee and it is done.

I'm about a half hour away from the car

Re: 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 396 4-speed survivor
Looks like it coming back to the states. Will fit in well next to my plum 4K camaro. I guess I'm a sucker for plum cars. All the Documents are taken care of just waiting for the transport to pick it up. Thanks L78m22rag for posting it

Re: 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 396 4-speed survivor
The Impala showed up today. Very cool car. It was nice here in de so we had to go for a couple rides.
It ended up being a complete numbers matching drive train and also has the protect-o-plate. Sold new on April 26 from Misle Chevrolet Co. Lincoln Nebraska. 2nd owner had it by August of 67 in Mesa Az and I'm hearing that guy died in Vietnam. I may have to do some research on that. The owner claimed it was orig paint but being a body and painter for 40+ years I knew it wasn't from the pics. he had sent me So I wasn't disappointed when I got the see it. Its a great crusier car and has a 331 posi . |

Paper work and border crossing easy right?
|
Re: 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 396 4-speed survivor
The transporter and customs agent work together and that makes it easy if you have the correct paperwork. I only filled out a couple pieces of paper and sent then to the customs agent.
