Re: Which magazine for a barn find camaro?
Hmmmm...well, you are Mauro Brocca, an extremely capable and award-winning restorer of Mopars (won OE Gold at the Mopar Nationals on his first(!) outing in 2009). Welcome sir. But here you are on a (mostly) GM site, so I hesitate to say it is the only EV2 4-speed Hemi Challenger convertible built in 1970, because I think kids were still sliding on that during the winter on some side street in Etobicoke well into the early '70s. I do know there's a significant COPO supposedly hiding up around your way....c'mon Mauro give it up
Again, Welcome |

I thought you might. I write directly for Muscle Car Review and Hot Rod about barn finds. You don't have to submit it for review or anything. http://www.hotrod.com/1_1_15375/cont...yan_brutt.html www.barnfinds.org Hemmings sometimes does barn find stuff, but it is extremely rare and few and far in between. Re: Which magazine for a barn find camaro?
Well I knew I could not use my MOPARO handle here on this site I felt I wouldn't get any replies. Thanks for the compliment on the OE awards. Jeff and I are on our third now and more in the works.
Well it is not the challenger, but I do know the car you are talking about. OK I will give it up since I am out numbered on this site. LOL Yes it is the COPO camaro that has been hiding all these years. The story behind the car is great. The options on this car are wild and it is a Canadian doc car. I do not own the car, but I am working on it. The car is not for sale at this time and I do not know if it will be in the future. Ryan (Devil) I have seen lots of your work/finds and it is very nicly presented. Please send your contact info. |

Re: Which magazine for a barn find camaro?
I may be biased but being that its a seriously legit find I recommend contacting Tom Cotter of Motorbooks "In the Barn" fame. Nothing more permanent than inclusion in a book.

Re: Which magazine for a barn find camaro?
Blue RS Copo Camaro by chance?
|
Re: Which magazine for a barn find camaro?
Ryan's are dime a dozen, Copo's a little more rare.

Re: Which magazine for a barn find camaro?
Mauro, Ryan has a column in Hot Rod for this kind of stuff, and it often gets syndicated in other Source Interlink publications. Barn Finds is his MO - do the guy a favor and send him the info!
EDIT: I see the ball is already rolling. |

"Blue RS Copo Camaro by chance? "
Lets just say the car is close to where this picture was taken in 1971. https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use...-toronto71.jpg |
Re: Which magazine for a barn find camaro?
Maybe we should let the owner of the car release the information about the car when he is ready.
