Re: survivor cortez silver z28 1969
Matt, a Cortez Silver survivor was recently listed on eBay. No photos of the undercarriage, seems the motor has been freshened, looks directionally correct with some missing components and typical rust areas (digg'in the period 8 track player). No Seller claims regarding documentation or born-with drive train components or correct / date coded accessories. Might be worth investigating (not affiliated): eBay Listing Item Number: 140946924785

Hey Stefano, was this the same car found by Chris Cadwallader? I think there is also a U-Tube video. </div></div> Would you post the YouTube link? |
Re: survivor cortez silver z28 1969
Here you go Lloyd and others, enjoy. Not sure his company is still in business however at the time he owned a '69 ZL1 Camaro and a '67 Z28 Camaro.

Re: survivor cortez silver z28 1969
Fellow named David in Colorado Springs has s KILLER RS Z that is still original paint. Cortez Silver stripe delete car with black interior. Paint code is - - because of the stripe delete.
If stripe delete isn't a deal breaker, you should check it out. Just talked to him yesterday and he still has the car. Not actively marketing it, but would consider selling. PM me if interested, & I can give you his contact info. And no, I do not get a finders fee. |
Re: survivor cortez silver z28 1969

Re: survivor cortez silver z28 1969
I have decided to have a little fun, Russo and Steele is having a auction this weekend in Newport beach Ca. Its one mile from my shop so I put my amazing 69 Z survivor in the auction. Its the one in this post. If it sells I will be in the market for a 70 or 71 RS Z/28 will need to be all numbers, fully documented and a four speed. And if it doesn't sell, I may be interested in a possible trade.
Thanks Ken Maisano |
