Don, whats the motor etc...options?
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
307 engine with a powerglide trans that shifts perfect. Cant even hear the thing run..No options really except pwr steering, tinted glass, door edge guards and those Mag caps. Under the hood is completely unfluffed with chalk marks on the firewall.

Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
That's one sweet ride from stem to stern. Gotta love it when you look into the engine compartment and see the garage floor. Good luck with the sale!

Dennis </div></div>I guess i should have not done this then...Which way you like it better? 12,500 takes it home with the redlines!https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use..._sale_1159.jpg https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use..._sale_1156.jpg |
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
Damn it Don! Stop that!! I am trying to buy a whole bunch of cars and this does not make it an easier.
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
I REALLY LIKE it with the Red Lines with the idea you do have the Original Caps in the garage.

Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
red lines and rally's caught my eye! GREAT floors too.
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
I like the hubcaps as you don't see them at all. What a great car.
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
Rallys make ANY Chevrolet look killer!
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
Very nice solid car and either set of wheels tires look great. We have a green version ourselves.
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
Love the hubcaps much better than Chevy rallye wheels....
Wish I could afford to buy it I would... My dad had a very similar car in 68 ..... I was a little kid I remember riding in it And dad working on it...changing the oil.. |
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
I love N96 caps too and they're a nice touch to this already outstanding car.
Maybe Don will snap the mag caps on for a few shots w/ the redlines! ~ Pete |
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
I cant the caps are 14 inch caps..I would have because i like the caps better too..Just figured more people would want it with the redlines.
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
Great car Don, I would like to have a car like this instead of looking around for a newer used car with all that high tech crap!
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
Nice car Don, did you get a buyer for it? Love the color and the redlines!!!
|
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
great looking car, will sure to make someone happy ... they are only original once ... I like the 14" too, seems to be split on that front
interesting that it has the anti torque recall straps on it too ... all the other ones I've seen are attached to the driver's side ... as the engine torques from driver's side to passenger side ... not sure how efficient the strap / kit would be on the pass side ... someone "learn" me about the location of this one ...? https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use..._sale_1144.jpg |
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
My 68 had them on both sides, and they were well needed!
BIG |
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
MY 69 Impala survivors has them on both sides as well. You have to look close but the passenger one is there.

Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
that is very interesting......was there a recall memo that indicated that these go on both sides or was this factory installed this way?
