Feels a lot like when I became a Dad. I just don't have to change the poopy diapers, and can leave any time I want.

Actually, things are way diff than when my oldest boy was born in 1977. No fathers in the delivery room back then. My grandsons were born in the same hospital as my two boys. Back then, there wasn't even a TV in the father's waiting room. I went home and got a 13 incher. I was up on night, while my ex wife was so drugged up, she slept through most of it. Went in at 11 pm and he wasn't born until 11 am.

This will be fun.

Well, the little scooters spent the night with us last night. Gave my son and his wife a night out.

10 weeks. They have more than doubled in size. No doubt now; they are definitely numbers matching, and getting harder and harder to tell apart. Sherri is really loving this. Have I told you my wife is an angel?

OK, these little guys are a blast. 8.5 months old.

Crawling, pulling up and getting into everything.

Pic from last week, one from today, and Brian in the race car yesterday. I did not put his hands on the wheel. He always grabs it and gets this serious look on his face. Of course, then he tries to eat the steering wheel.

Guess I never saw this post.

Car is called an american retro red racer. It is loosely based on early 50's Ferrari race cars. I even got a real Ferrari chrome hinged gas cap set up as well as Ferrari decals with it. Just haven't put them on. The car is more for looks than function. Pretty crappy pedal and steering mechanism. Paint finish is top quality though.

Planning on a photo shoot with the twins and the car to use for advertising. Then I can pay them each $1000. Because they will have earned income, we can do tax returns and they can each contribut the entire $1000 to a Roth IRA. Assuming the US economy doesn't implode, based on just a modest rate of return, each IRA should be worth about $360,0000 in TODAY'S dollars (adjusted for inflation) at age 65 (i.e. if it takes $2m in 2078 to purchase what $360,000 would purchase today, they would each have about $2m. We will decide over the next few years whether to add to that. Nice head start on retirement.

These little guys are just more fun than you can imagine.

They love the outdoors. Soon as we go out, they are running.

And they love hamming it up for the camera.

Lynn, only 2 grand children? My oldest son is dating these 2 girls, each with triplets. At any time we can go from 7 grandkids to 10 in the blink of an eye. 16 to 6 years old. Keeps me busy. It's almost 2 AM now and the 6 year old is on line playing games.

They are 16 mos old.
