nope. they are black and more tapered. almost like a plastic anchor you would screw into your wall to hang something. John, your crazy. HA!!

That top pic looks like a hard to find pass side detent delete plug. Bottom is a cowel plug I believe. Sammy is correct about them being tapered. If you can't find originals, AMK makes them. They are very nice.

I pulled a perfect pair of those off of a Nova a while back and threw them in a drawer in my tool box but they seem to have ran off. I looked for a while the other day and will look again this weekend. &quot;If&quot; I can find them, i'll let you know.

I found one cap John. There are still two on the property but i don't think I'll ever find them. I remember putting them in a safe place... i must have been successful. Anyway, i have one used cap if your interested.

I have yet to see a red hron cap for a nova. I have a survivor car and can't find it. Any pictures of what it looks like?

Sam,
Its weird that they come with a cap for you can't even see it. Usaully these caps are to prevent injury, but where the horn is located on a Nova you can't get scratched or cut by the end of the pointed bolt.

The yellow cap I have seen on the passenger side fender tub bracket bolt on air conditioning cars. Its to prevent injury from the bolts protruding upward into the engine compartment from the wheel well.

Dave, I believe in this case it is more to protect the wires that run behind the horn than fingers.
