Re: camaro

This brain stain of a car is about as pleasing to the eye as a twig and hopefully the worst example of bastardizing a Gen2 we'll ever see.
Look at the poor thing and a '70 too, the sick puppet master of this project needs to be exposed and dealt with accordingly...starting with a good ol' schoolyard circle push!

Cool. Perfect example of the time period.

Re: camaro

Kind of like it,in a nostalgic kind of way. This is what the ISCA was all about. It brings to mind a LS-6 (Proud Mary)that was done up the same way. Period mods from a different decade. We may not all like them, but it is automotive history. Like the saying goes, If you don't remember it you may be damned to repeat it!

Looks like it should be on the lowrider circuit.

Re: camaro

LOL, love it. I'd make a few changes (change the front end back to original and fix the tail light panel) and show/cruise it. Other than those two areas, I totally dig it.

Being a child of the '70s, these old ISCA show cars appeal to me, lololol.

Never could get my mind around the ISCA cars of the 70’s. More like Endless BAD Dream with a side of sleep paralyzes

The tires kill the theme. I remember the magazines from the day with these cars and they were cool to look at as a kid while we played with our Hot Wheels. Some guys were doing their vans and a few were go over the top with there muscle

Re: camaro

The ISCA dudes mean well and are a good bunch. Last year at Autoram Houston a couple of them came over and explained how I could improve my COPOs chances of winning. "Replace the interior". I explained that it was the originals interior and that to keep it original I could tolerate a few imperfections. They couldn't quite grasp the fact that this was more important to me than winning a $5.00 plaque.

Re: camaro

This car has been perpetually for sale for AT LEAST five years. Always stalks ebay listings asking if I want to trade. lemme thinkaboutitforasecondno. ISCA can be done tastefully or like this. This one tests to old axiom, "There is an ass for every seat."

Re: camaro

The interior looks like a vintage 70's living room. A friend of my mother's from the American Legion had one similar to that!!!! It was always uncomfortable trying to take a nap on that "U" shaped couch
