Post edit time
 

OK, So I reply to a post, click Preview and only see a typed link to a photo. I post the reply anyway just in case it will actually post the photo like it used to do. Nope. It just prints the link which is not clickable. Then I click EDIT so I can try again with a different link. "Edit time has expired". Wow, that's cool. 5 seconds after I post, I can no longer edit my post???????????????????
I'm using Photobucket like always and use the "direct link" as always. What's changed????

I had it happen a few times over the last 6 months or so too Verne but it seems a sporadic problem w/ no rhyme or reason?
No chance to edit also the smilies don't work even though they're correctly input w/ the : on each side and all.
I don`t think it has anything to do w/ Photobucket and more just a glitch that picks on us older fellas that don`t really know what we`re doing w/ computers?

Just happened again. 5 seconds and edit time ran out AND the color selection for font didn't work.

Verne, look at your post now- HERE!

There were extra spaces in your post and Jake's post...which cause the &quot;Color&quot; selection not to work. There was also a missing &quot;beginning quote&quot; for one of the quotes.

Here we go AGAIN!!! NO post edit time. NO photo posted using the same procedures as before that always worked......

I have no problem with any other site.

Just don't make mistakes and you won't need to edict.

We're fine here at home, but the area is in bad shape. Some roads are still closed due to trees down and power company trucks working on wires and clearing limbs. Slowly, power is being restored and gas stations are opening up but the lines are very long. We picked up Chinese take out last night and the restaurant was filled and the line for take out was out the door because so many people have no power and can't cook at home.

I used the 4th box on the top using the link you provided above. If it is something you have saved on your hard drive, you would use the 5th box on the top.

Why not just load the pics directly onto the website Verne? There's that option as well...and it's easy!

Also, when you are linking and the links aren't working, you may have HTML disabled. Are you using the world symbol with the link (directly above the text posting area) to create your links? That's easy, too! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif[/img]
