Check out Chrysler 300 Club inc and Chrysler 300 Club International , they focus on letter cars and the Hurst 300. Both clubs have a dedicated following.

that plus two cans of wax for each quarter panel!! I think the chrome will clean up nice. It's been in a climate controlled attached garage for about 12-13 years, run very little. The interior is a comfy living room. |

When Hurst fabricated the trunk lid, there was no provision for a key. The only way to open the trunk was from the interior using a mandatory, vacuum operated trunk button. In case of failure, there was also a manual cable, unique to the 300-H, installed in the interior. The hoods were fiberglass, but used the factory Chrysler steel inner structure.
These cars also did not have Hurst shifters, and they supposed to be 440+6 cars, but ended up all being 440 4-barrels. The only ragtops made were the ones this girl rode on. |

Yes, I guess technically there were two built with Hurst Shifters, although those shifters were 9 feet tall and weren't functional, they served their purpose.

Re: 70 Hurst Mopar 300
I had one back in 1975. A real boat, but comfortable on long trips and looks neat. Is this car for sale?

There is a short list of possible next owners (family and friends) it should be sorted out within a week or so. I will post it in the classified section if there are no takers. |

Re: 70 Hurst Mopar 300
Great Car!!! How does that B-52's song go.."I got me a Chrysler it's as big as whale..seats about 20" something like that.
I've got a 72 Chrysler Imperial Factory Exec car that I'm rebuilding the motor on..can't wait to get it done and do some cruisin. Takes up a lot of garage space though and taking the hood off gave me a hernia(almost). |
