I see the smog pump in the trunk. Those should be the high dollar Z28 exhaust manifolds on that car.

While this is an extreme case, it also proves a point:

That statement is strictly a matter of opinion. I recently got to see a 12.3 mile vintage Corvette, which no longer has its original engine, but the low original miles is a big part of the history and provenance and it does make a difference.

How true about miles, it's the condition and care a car has been given that really matter on a car. I looked at a 6,100 mile one owner '70 Z28 recently, but the motor had been removed and rebuilt. The remainder of the car was nice, but the detail on the motor made it look like a restored car.
