1967 original Cox Stuka airplane, works!
1967 Cox Stuka control line airplane with box. Great garage art.
Ebay auction Great condition, no damage, unrestored original with original stickers. It can fly, although I have never flown it and it looks like it has never been flown. Motor runs great. Looks great hanging in the garage. The Nitro Methane fumes are awesome when the motor is running! Very loud and powerful. Comes with original "numbers matching" motor as well as a better running motor. No reserve on Ebay http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...arts/all-2.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...arts/motor.jpg |

very cool. I had a P40 Warhawk/Flying Tigers plane when I was a kid. I think the 'shark face' on the P40 was adopted off the Luftwaffe's Messerschmitt

Re: 1967 original Cox Stuka airplane, works!
can you image packing it to get to you in one pice

Re: 1967 original Cox Stuka airplane, works!
It only shows $35 to ship it to me. UPS has a higher charge if the box is big. It will require a large 24" box to pack it so it doesn't break.

Re: 1967 original Cox Stuka airplane, works!
It shows $64.41 shipping to me.

I would think the shipping cost is based on where you live? It's 35 to me...but I live one state away

Here is the letter that comes with the plane. I don't think the Sergeant ever got the engine to run right, and never flew the plane. I got it running, but it only would run for a short time. I put in another engine and it runs great. The original numbers matching motor come with the plane also.

Re: 1967 original Cox Stuka airplane, works!
Wow...I will never forget december 26th, the day after I got my 'Stuka divebomber'. I just could not wait, so my Dad took me to a nearby parking lot in freezing weather to fly my plane. It took a while, but he got it running and it took off and made one lap before it divebombed into the pavement and broke in a bunch of pieces !!!
What memories!! Good luck with the sale!! |
Re: 1967 original Cox Stuka airplane, works!
Same with me-I had a P-51 Mustang. Crashed. After I bought this Stuka I didn't want to crash it so I bought a NOS Cox Texan to practice with. A couple crashes and broken landing gear, but I finally got the hang of it. Pretty fun, and loud. Still was too afraid to crash this Stuka, so I never flew it.
