The rear spoiler, is that factory? It obviously reminds much of the Camaro z28 spoiler

Re: 1970 Firebird Formula RAM AIR lll - SURVIVOR

The end caps are Camaro pieces. I believe from prior postings about the car, the original owner installed the spoiler and liked the look of the Camaro endcaps over the Firebird endcaps.

I have had a few calls on the trans and rear axle. The trans is the Muncie M21 close ratio; Rear Axle is coded COZ - 3.73 Posi

Re: 1970 Firebird Formula RAM AIR lll - SURVIVOR

I think my friend Tony owned this car in PA. If this was it, I was in it and it drove amazing! Like a dealer demo in 1970.

Re: 1970 Firebird Formula RAM AIR lll - SURVIVOR

So, did this car sell? Was on ebay two plus years ago.
 |

Re: 1970 Firebird Formula RAM AIR lll - SURVIVOR

Yes, Roger/ryanbowtie, who did indeed buy it from Tony, sold it not too long after this run on eBay if I recall correctly. His takeaway from the whole experience was its a lot easier to sell a Camaro than a Firebird.....

I brought the car to Iowa a couple of years ago and I have been loving every minute of it. What a great car! Please let me know if you need any information or pictures of the car.
