Anyone into autocross or road course track days?
 

Here's our father son project car. 71 camaro, 408, just installed a t56 magnum 6 speed.
We typically run a couple times a month during the winter with the SCCA and Pro Auto Sports.

You will have to come out, I'll give you a front seat spot in the 71 on the West track at Firebird next weekend. If you do, you will have to kick Landon out of the passenger seat.
You will get to see how the old car runs through the twisties with the lighter imports and c5-6 corvettes.

Ian and I also autocross. We have a Honda CRX that is a blast. Sorry to admit it, but he is a whole lot faster then the &quot;old man.&quot;

I used to autocross this old monstrosity in the SCCA ASP Solo I and Solo II class back in 1993-95. I was always battling it out with some guy in a vintage Lotus Elan that weighed around 1000 lbs, completely loaded.

Amazing to think what power to weight ratio will do to you: a 4000 lb car with 400 hp = 1000 lb car with 100 horsepower.

Just got back from running an SCCA autocross. Next weekend, Goodguys autocross.
