This is a cell phone picture of a funnel cloud that lasted more than a minute at approximately 5:30pm off of McDonald Rd in Scottsdale AZ. It occurred over farmland and kicked up some dirt as well.


Taken with Lynn's cell phone...as mine was dead..or I would have gotten video!

You're welcome Bruce. Pretty ominous looking clouds. But, from what I remember of days growing up in NE Ohio, we didn't get that type of Wx until we got that warm wet air in the spring/summer. So, can't blame that on me............yet!

DC, there is one other hairy dudette back at the ranch. Reily is just a year but is already putting the press on me to take her for a run too. Hmmm [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img] with the snow and two Stout German Shepherds, maybe they could pull me on a sled!

Lots of energy in my new household with these two youngster pups. This summer I will import the wife and my 2 dogs. Then, we'll have 3 large dogs of 3 y.o. or less (and one dignified 10 y.o. Lab) inhabiting the same abode. Should be a hoot!
