1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
What I am looking for is:
A 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 6-pack car in either EV2 (Tor Red) or EK2 (Vitamin C). The car also must be an original drivetrain car as well as original body panels. It also needs to be documented and excellent but not a trailer queen. Willing to pay fair cash price for the right car. There must be a seller out there somewhere. [email protected] Thanks again, Al Barlow Maine |
Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Here is an update as I tweak what I am looking for is:
A 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda or 440 6-pack car in either EV2 (Tor Red) or EK2 (Vitamin C) with black interior. The car also must be an original drivetrain car, an original N96 Shaker car as well as mostly original body panels. It also needs to be documented and in excellent condition but not necessarily a trailer queen. Willing to pay fair cash price for the right car. There must be a seller out there somewhere. [email protected] Thanks again, Al Barlow Maine |

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Al,
Seen this? Appears to not be a 6-pack. http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...mp;lottype=car Dan |
Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Has to be a Hemi or 6-pack.
Thanks, Al |

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Beautiful Hemi but the car has to be a non-vinyl top car with black interior. It is all about reliving the past.
Thanks again for looking. Al |

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
I was offered a contact name to a Hemi Cuda that belonged to a friend of this person. He wanted $7500 for the contact information. I declined. I'm not saying that I wouldn't give something for a finders fee if the car was purchased but nothing like 5%. My response to this person was, "ask your friend for a sellers fee and your friend will sell his car and you will make a few bucks". He said no. Somehow I wonder what the friend would say if he knew he could have sold the Hemi but did not because his friend couldn't make money on it. Personally, my friendships don't work that way. He did say that his friend had a Tor Red 4-speed and a Limilight Hemi Cuda for sale. The person selling the contact information lived in Massachusetts. Possibly someone out there knows of these two Hemi cars.
Thanks, Al Barlow Maine |

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Someone has to be a complete douchebag to want $7500 for a contact on a car that a seller could possibly want to buy. Get real.

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Al,
Give Greg Nelsen a call 952-440-6722 tell him Andy said to call. He is getting a few cars in ask him about the 70' Orange Hemi Stick (all original sheet metal, great paper broadcast sheet, numbers matching no b.s. car one of the better 70's out there) Priced very realistic for the caliber of car it is. He'll also know of just about anything your looking for. p.s. I just got in the BEST 1966 Hemi Satellite Survivor you'll ever see if that floats your boat at all?? Red/Black, ALL NUMBERS MATCHING, 4 Speed, buckets console, Every piece of paper work you could ask for.. Its the top dog and the best on out there period! Id sell it real right $$ before I advertise it. |

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
----Andy,,,I had a twin to that 1966 car a long way back. Wonder if my name turned up anywhere in your papers. Jerome Shinkay sold it to me, but it came from a guy in MO. named Bob Fuller that many of you have heard of. And, actually, Bob traded it back out off me for a 72 Corvette. It was a whopper of a Hemi, alright. Had Cragers on it when Jerome sold it to me but I went back to correct rims and an NOS set of Bluestreaks. Broke my heart to get rid of it, but house payments back then won out.......Bill S

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
i think this is the recent barn find that was in MCR? recently. There was a thread here on it too.

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Bill how many cars have I owned that you use to own?? I think this is the 4th now we both must have good taste in cars lol. Yes its the Bob Fuller car same guy that owned the Black LS6 Convertible Survivor.. Lee Harder ordered it new and sold it to Bob in Oct. 1973 you must have owned sometime between 1973 and 1981? Car has every piece of paper work, Window Stick, Broadcast sheet, Certi card, owner history, Handwritten letter from Lee in 1981 telling the new owner about the car, letters from other owners etc.. Absolute time capsules! I bet the odometer only has around 3000 more miles on from when you owned it! I can not believe how well preserved this car is, it's one of the better survivor cars I have every seen and you could jump in it and drive it anywhere.. purrs like a kitten

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
With all due respect to this red Satellite, it can't be the best one out there. The Citron Gold/black/AT 1700 mile car is the NEWEST old car I've ever had the pleasure of going over. Unless something terrible has happened to it in the last 5 years, it has to be the best of the best. (History:Ex Pat MacGruder, ex Gary McKay, ex Paul Denhert car.) All the same, I'm really glad there's a nice 4 sp car out there. I'm a fan of '66 Satellites:)

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
----I knew that the old red Hemi would show up someday in good hands, Andy!
----Tom,,,Its funny you bring the low mileage Citron Hemi up as I had my hands all over that car too. I tried but was never lucky enough to get my name on that title. The car came from the original owner thru Louisville to Classic Motors in Hinsdale. While it is more than likely the best original 66 Hemi out there, Andys Hemi is red and a 4-speed. Just more desireable to me, anyway. ----As a sidebar, since we are so far afield, the original Florida owner of the Citron Hemi also had a 1971 LS6 Corvette that had fewer miles than the Hemi. We also bought that car and it quickly went north to Jerome Shinkays stable in Wisconsin......Bill S |

----At the risk of getting further afeild from the original intent of this thread, Yes! Thats the Vette, Steve. I have lost track of that one, but it has to be the best original LS6 Corvette on earth if it hasnt gone downhill.....Bill S

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
Don Jerry from north NJ owned the blue coupe for a while, 454 miles on it when I saw it. he also had a white and a red L-S6. Vette magazine did a feature on them back in the 80's or early 90's.

Re: 1970 Six Pack Cuda Wanted
I have actually talked to the owner. Beautiful car but not a real shaker car. Sounds picky but it has to be an original N96 car. Thanks though.
