Brewster and I in Muscle Car Review
 

Some might remember that my buddy Brewster and his 73 SD and I were invited to attend this event last September. I've always thought that if I hung with Brew long enough that I would get in a magazine. Muscle Car Review covered the event and the story made their January issue. Just the front fender and hood of my car got in but that is me looking at my car and that hair challenged guy in the yellow shirt is Brewster. just read the whole mag today. great stuff fellas. charlies COPO on the body drop display is cool as hell too. good to see some wicked hot ponchos at this event.

It was a great show even though the weather was terrible.

Talking with the guys that built our cars was incredible and the stories went on and on. It was once in a life time for a car guy for sure.

Regrettabily due to the rain the reporter/photographer from MCR did not make it because trying to shoot cars for features in the rain is just not workable. I made a great effort to gather as much information on each car and high resolution photographs were submitted to MCR for this story. It pains me that all of the great Firebirds were excluded from this specific event feature- but the editorial committee decided to run the feature as part of the 100th anniversary issue dedicated to Chevrolet, so we ended up with what we have.

With that said the event will continue for 2012 and will be expanded, held earlier in the year and close to/on a weekend. The details are developing so if there are owners with cars who have interest in participating let me know.

Planning to limit the number of participants to a degree again to facilitate one on one interactions with the car owners and the plant Alumni.
