Good to see them advance but the game sure seemed liked the Lions never showed up.

Jay Cutler looks like a different QB since Earl Bennett came back. And the offensive line is actually protecting him.

The Lions are dirty players. They remind me of the 1980's era Packer teams, except these Lions actually have talent. The Lions are watching their season slip away, they're watching the Packers run the table, and then the Bears totally embarrass them. Not surprising they take cheap shots.

The Bears shut down Calvin Johnson, and made Stafford look look like a high school QB, but the Lions DID shut down the Bears running game. Credit them for that.

And for a 100TH time, &quot;DON'T KICK THE BALL TO DEVIN HESTER&quot;. That should be written in big red letters on every opponents playbook.

The 49ers and Houston Texans may be the 2 most overlooked teams this year.

With every 49ers win, all I can think of is that somewhere sits Mike Singletary, wondering what the heck he was doing wrong between 2008-2010, when he had a dismal 18-22 record as the 49ers head coach. With essentially the same team in place, Jim Harbaugh took over in 2011 and are now 8-1. Harbaugh did a pretty good job at Stanford too. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]

I'd watch out for them 9'ers....

Amen! Not sure who I like more, Patrick Willis (whom I've always liked) or Justin Smith.

I wonder how the Bears o-line is going to keep going. Another one hurt. But they somehow keep doing it.... Helps that Cutler is pretty tough. Also makes Forte's season even more amazing.

How bad are the Bears so far this year?
At 0-3 they tell us to remain calm as there are 13 games left and lots of wins coming.
Jay Cutler collects his pay check on the bench....again.
They traded away 3 known players for a next year 6th round draft pick already....Fire sale?
Bears host the Raiders here this week.Oakland is favored by 2 points.
Oakland hasn't been favored on the road in 3 years.

I didn't know that Rick. We've got some good young talent on offence - Carr, Cooper, Crabtree, etc. Defensive front is decent. However, our secondary pass coverage really sucks. I'm hoping we can be competitive in about two or three years if we can keep things together. I haven't had that kind of optimism in a long time. The Silver and Black are rarely shown on TV in my area [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/frown.gif[/img] so I have to watch the games streaming on-line

If the &quot;Teddies&quot; pass on every down they should do fine.

HeHe -- good one ... looks like the guy in the middle was at the &quot;Ice Bowl&quot;. I was -- just returned from Vietnam ... the cold almost killed me and I got sicker than hell.

Sometimes it really sucks to be a Bears fan -- it went to hell in a hand basket for you when Ditka left ... ya'll haven't been the same since then.

By the way -- still a nice pic of that Z-28 ... while in the AF I bought one like it ... green w/green interior ... three pedals. Got a drag racing ticket with it right off the bat. It'd be nice to find out where that car is now.
