Wanted: '69 Z28
Hi All,
A close friend is looking for a restored or very good driver '69 Z28. Original motor, trans, and rear is crucial and paperwork is a plus but not a necessity. Ideal colors are Silver, Red, Blue, Green. Mechanically sound is a plus but a very good project (like my car) would work too. Very motivated for the right car! Thanks, Dan |
Re: Wanted: '69 Z28
Jacquie (shevelle) has a really nice yellow one!

Re: Wanted: '69 Z28
My buddy hates Yellow... If he liked the color, he would already have a fantastic Z28, just ask Eddie M.

Re: Wanted: '69 Z28
Friendly bump... with more information.
Must have spoilers, cowl hood and console/gauges. No yellow. An older restored car is best - my friend wants something to drive. I make no $ on this, simply helping out an old friend. Regards, Dan |
Re: Wanted: '69 Z28
I am into the car but he is not. I sent him a link with photos of the car months ago when I first saw it. No luck.
Thanks for thinking of me. Dan |
Re: Wanted: '69 Z28
Dan, No luck on ebay? There seems to be alot of decent undervalued Zs on there lately.

Re: Wanted: '69 Z28
Chuck, great question. I was circling a dusk blue on blue original motor and diff car for a month from ebay apparently original 1/4s. My buddy owns a roofing business and between Irene and the October blizzard his business is booming. Needless to say we missed an original motor Z, needing a smog system and a good cleaning for $39k.
It literally made me sick to my stomach... [Face in hands] |
