I really liked the story about the "Fast Track" Nova. The 2-page picture was taken at SCR XII in 2009. I know this for a fact because I was staging in the left lane when that picture was taken. Strange that Bob McClurg didn't mention that Brian Henderson was at the wheel, and that he did something to the transmission in that car that we can't even talk about in front of women. (He crossed the finish line about 6" before I did. It was a real buzz kill to find out that his tranny had suffered a catastrophic failure.)

This is what a catastrophic failure looks like:

Sorry, my mistake. The L-88 hood got me!

Anyway, I picked up three copies today. Lots of good features in this issue including the Cordia Nova, The Fred Gibb Story, Les Quam's Gorgeous Phase III B/M Camaro (Cover Shot too!), Bill Emmerich's A/C equipped '68 Yenko, and a couple of special call-outs for Don & Judi Stowers and Mike Guarise at the Mecum Indy event. DEFINITELY worth picking up this issue.

You all need to subscribe so you don't miss the tire test article in an upcoming issue where they used my 70 Chevelle convertible. I am just a bit excited about it!!
