Will the show return to Collinsville, IL?
Just kind of curious since Gateway International is mothballed. The track day is always great.

For those not familiar with Route 66 Raceway, it is part of the Chicagoland Speedway Properties, located in Joliet, IL, Southwest of Chicago. Their facilities are second to none, hosting both NASCAR and NHRA events.

Is it me ...or am I missing something....Howie.. did you hit something AGAIN...lol. Joe..I was told that they are having carry out only with pizza shops...email I received was that they had a reward for an Iowa Pizza Truck Snatcher....dont worry ..Dru and I will be your aliby.

This is a World Class drag race facility and track. Even the locals have it tough getting quality time on this track.

If ever there was an event to run your special car down the track. This would be it!

This year’s events are open to all supercar and musclecar owners and enthusiasts. All members of this site are encouraged to attend, and even bring a friend or two. The more the merrier. At the get togethers at the hotel, and at the track on Friday, NO charge to attend as a spectator and/or display your car(s). The only fee will be to race, which is $75.00.

Here is a tentative schedule of events.

Thursday
Meet and greet at host hotel parking lot

Friday
8:00am Gates open at race track open
10:00am-5:00pm drag racing and cruise-in at race track

I spent yesterday TUNING the Mini-Bike. Rebuilt the carb &amp; put in new plug. Did a 6&quot; wheel stand. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/3gears.gif[/img]

Episode #1. Racecar drags Howie out of trailer onto gravel as car barely misses tree.

Episode #2. Howie mistakes gas pedal for brake pedal, takes out garage door and side of racecar.

Episode #3. Howie confronts Mr. Motion regarding Motion car doing wheelie in magazine a SCR.

Episode #4. Howie cannot get racecar to fire at SCR until he realizes he is pushing the transbrake button instead of the start button.

Episode $5. Howie wipes out side of car while unloading it from trailer (flat rear slick).

Episode #6. Howie getting into and out of racecar. For mature audiences only.

If it's a helmet mount, make sure you shut it off before you go in the can and look down.
