I had forgotten what it is like to attend an indoor show ... |
Re: MCACN 2010
Nice pictures except for one Randy. What's up with blacking out the back of the green BERGER camaro????If it's nice enough to take some photos of and post on the net is there something that I am missing about not having dealer names shown?Or is it that it was another Chevrolet dealer show and no dealer names can be shown?
Just a question. Kendall |
Re: MCACN 2010

Pics coming tomorrow...I am pooped! </div></div> Ditto on the above. Kendall and Donna, . Always a treat to spend time with you. (and Thanks for the 'gifts' left on the seat ) I rolled in at home about 12:45 and just had to pop on here to say, "OMG, What a SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!" Too much to process right now so I'm gonna crash and see if I can sleep for a while but PLEASE do yourself a favor and mark your calendars for the 2011 Edition of MCACN. This Show is ABSOLUTELY the Best Muscle Car Show on the planet. |

History being added to at this show! |
Re: MCACN 2010
show was unbelievable. The orange SCW yenko (1/2 racing form, 1/2 stock) with the front clip removed was very cool. The black convertible 65 GTO was to die for to see in person.
There was a blue Fred Gibb camaro next to that orange yenko that had a hood on it I never saw before. 2 scoops, very very cool. There were quite a few 'never saw that before' moments for me. weather worked out great. |
Re: MCACN 2010
What a great show, I can't believe how many amazing cars of all types were there. I love all the brands being presented.

Good to meet you and your father, Dan.
It was good to meet Randy, also. He really helped me with posting pictures of my Camaro rebuild. Lots of viewers followed the rebuild. |

Re: MCACN 2010
Thank you to all the folks who brought their deuces to the display. Many came from a long way at great expense, I do appreciate your help. While we did miss a citrus green, we did pick up that e bay Gobi deuce, and it's Canadian silver cousin. Great to meet Bruno, and always good to see Pete.
Thank you Mr. Ashton for letting me do the display, and I was also amazed at the rare, and unique cars in attendance this year. You have truly raised the bar. And I may never wash my elbow again after that photo shot with Linda Vaughn. (really big smile) |

Well, I feel I have to post the bad with the good as it always seems there are a few bad apples that attempt to overshadow an outstanding event. The following posts are my evidence submitted for your review. I have left out names to protect the guilty..... |

Re: MCACN 2010
So many cool cars at this show, just incredible!
Can you imagine going to a dealer back in 1970, checking off the options to buy a new 1970 GTO, then making the big leap, you check the 'big box', the RAIV option. You wait a few weeks, the car arrives, you pick it up, and a few blasts up and down the boulevard, you think you're king of the hill, there's nothing that will touch your new GTO. Then at the next stoplight, you pull up next to this thing, and your day is ruined. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...how2010057.jpg |

If only I knew then what it all meant!! We would just be sitting there watching, eating our Raay-Nors chicken. |

Being in the Chicagoland Area, we really never saw any Baldwin-Motion cars (there may have been some around, but not like it was around the NY area). But we did have our share of Yenko/COPO's.
Always loved the paint schemes on the Baldwin-Motion beasts. Out of curiosity (and a bit off topic), does anyone know what became of the yellow 1969 LS-7 Baldwin-Motion car, supposedly 1 of 2 made, restored about 10 years ago by Legendary? Another one of my favorites from the show: https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...ACN%202010.jpg |
