Help identifying a Hurst shifter
A friend picked this up at a garage sale this weekend. Can any body tell me anything about it and if it has any value?
I can't for the life of me figure out how to get a picture attached! |

Looks like a Hurst Ram-Rod shifter... Would need pictures of the other side of the shifter to be sure... Crash

Re: Help identifying a Hurst shifter
thats a V-gate inline shifter. someone bent the reverse lockout for some reason.the reverse lock out has a factory curve , but not as dramatic as that one does.
and someone changed the shift handle and curved the gear lock rod to fit it. this is what a nicer one would look like. http://www.fordmuscleforums.com/atta...-gate-012b.jpg |
Re: Help identifying a Hurst shifter
Mine ain't quite as pretty, but here it is installed so you get an idea where things would be before the bendy.

Nice fit in the console! I have had quite a few cut for shifters. Looks like you took your time and made it fit right. Well done!
