70 Chevelle Parts ID

I'm getting to the end of the parts from the 70 Chevelle I just split up. Fortunately, most of the parts were bagged and tagged. I do have these few that I still need to ID. I imagine the rods are for the front valance but want to be sure. No clue on the other parts. Anyone know?

Thanks,

Jason

Re: 70 Chevelle Parts ID

The two bars are fender braces. They go from the base of the fender under the parking lights up to the front of the inner fender.
The two flat L brackets go on the front bumper brackets and act as bumper stops. There should be a "C" shaped rubber bumper that goes on them.
The P shaped item is the battery cable clamp that goes on the passenger side motor mount attaching point.
The zinc bracket goes on the frame underneath the brake booster and holds the brake lines.

I might be interested in all of these items sans the brake line bracket as I have several already.

They are all your except the bump stops Rick. I have the bumper brackets scheduled for Ebay on Thursday and will add them to it.
I will put the other parts in your stack. Bonus!

Thanks,

Jason

Received all the parts I purchased from Jason as well as a big "goody" box of what most consider junk. Everything was as described and appreciated the freebies as well Jason and they WILL be put to good use. Thanks!

My pleasure. Rick, there should be more parts coming your way once the dust settles.

Thanks,

Well Jacquie informed me today that we won the front and rear bumper brackets as well. They will go well with the bumper bracket rubbers you sent me. You can ship them direct to the shop if they haven't already left.

I saw the name Jacquie and thought that may be the case. They were shipped out yesterday. She should have gotten free shipping. I will send the next shipment free to make up for it.

Well that shipment arrived this morning and once again goes to show how some people are true hobbiests. Jason sent me a box of items that many would consider useless or too small to ebay as well as a couple of very nice original buildsheets. As usual, ALL of these items (except for the heat riser) will be put to good use and once more Jason, I sincerely appreciate your help! Guys like you are what make this hobby enjoyable. Rick,

Glad to hear the parts will be used. I wish there was more left but I was down to the nitty gritty.
I hope the build sheets made it OK, I cringed when I folded them in half.

Those nitty gritty items are the ones that you cannot find when you need them and will bring a project to a complete halt so yes they were appreciated. You would be amazed at what some call junk that I call gold when I need them.

The build sheets are fine. They actually would have fit in the box without folding them but with a little humidity they will flatten right out. Nothing like the LS6 original paint El Camino owner I ran into at a show several years ago. When I asked him how he knew it was an original LS6 (had an LS5 in it) he pulled the 4 way folded buildsheet out of his back pocket and showed it to me. I about dropped!
