Bruce's Chevelle News...
 

I am happy (and sad at the same time) to announce that my Marina Blue 66 Chevelle has found a new home. It's going to be "living" on the East Coast and the buyer and myself couldn't be happier. I'd like to thank Mike Crown and Jacquie Benthin for their guidance and help making this deal happen. It's been a whirlwind couple of days...we got a great offer for the car and Lynn and I figured it was just "time" to let her go.

But, This doesn't mean that you guys and gals get off that easily...

I will still be around...being the normal Bruce...just without the Chevelle (or a cool car) at this point in time.

Thanks again to Mike and Jacquie for their help!

They say the two happiest days in a boat owners life is the day he buys the boat and the day he sells it.
I don't think that applies to old cars as I have rarely let one go without a fight.

Good luck Bruce in your next auto adventure. I'm sure you have some great pics and video of the Chevelle and I think right here and now is a good spot to highlight memorable years of fun and ownership.

Hi Bruce,
Sorry to see the Chevelle go but Holly's education is certainly more important than the car. Your one of the best family guys I know. When the time is right you'll buy another car.

Bruce; I can definitely understand the needs to fund college for Holly. Just this week we felt our funds get more depleted for a first used car for my daughter and then the added insurance cost. We are lucky in Georgia and have a lottery that pays for college tuition and a little toward books if you maintain a B average and attend a public GA college/university.

You will find something when it is right.

Boy, does that hit home. I have 6 years to go and I've already started to think about doing the same thing. Hopefully the market will be a bit stronger by then! Congrats Bruce, cars can always be replaced.

I know this drill too well as my #1 has just finished University, #2 is going into year 3 also #3 is starting year 1 in September...and there's 3 more to follow the next 3 years in a row!.

Sad to see it go Bruce. I looked it over when it was in Vegas and wished then that it was in Hawaii!!!!
