Very easy for you to get here Jake...take I90 from Rockford toward Chicago and exit IL route 53 north...take 53 north and exit Kirchoff rd east...come down Kirchoff about a mile or so and it's on the right hand side of street, you can't miss it...hope to see you there!

Thanks Dan - I actually made it to Downers Grove last summer and it was great. I grew up in Darien so it was like old home week. Hope to make it again this summer as well. Now that Dad has the 409 back I'm sure he will be there more frequently as well. If you see a Nassau Blue 62 409/409 look him up. I put the 28th on my calendar for Rolling Meadows in anticipation of Ken's 37' Ford debut - hopefully no baseball games that night.

I think I'll cruise on over to Rolling Meadows this Friday night. The old "Blue Devil" needs some exercise. We'll see you all there. It's 130 mile round trip, so I'll need a few gas stops on the way! Now you guys will see what all this hoopala is all about. The '62 Nassau Blue 409 will be there!!!

Sounds like Rolling Meadows is really gonna be rockin this Friday night....I have 2 friends (the ones who own the two Pontiac 2+2 converts)who will also be unveiling their latest restorations...and they are spectacular...but if you want to know what they are, you'll have to be there Friday night or wait for the pictures [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]

Jake and for any of you that are comming from far away and have a GPS system.... there is a Taco Bell right on the NW corner of the parking lot that the RM cruise is held and the address is: 2997 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 Set those GPS units and I hope to see you there...if you're there by 5:00 or so you'll get a spot no problem...starts filling quickly after 5:00

Thanks Randy. Took out the Chevelle for the first test drive of the year and filled up the tank the other night so I'm ready to go. Dad has been thrashing on a center driveshaft bearing on the 409 and will be ready by Friday as well. Looking forward to it. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif[/img]

Thanks--that is on my list of things to buy. I want to replace the trans mount with a polyurethane one also. I had to put in a NAPA mount so I could drive it to Rolling Meadows tomorrow night. It's not hard to do, so I thought I'd put a factory one in for now, and when we get serious about racing, the billet one along with the polyurethane trans mount will be installed. I already have the polyurethane motor mounts, so that's covered! The original mounts were so bad, that the valve cover on the drivers side was hitting the brake booster, and it actually poked a hole in the cover! Luckily they were 348 covers, so now I have the correct 409 valve covers installed.

I just got home, weather could not have been any better. Randy sorry I missed you, I did see you....but could not seeem to find you again.
