For all you 1970 Chevelle Enthusiasts
Hemmings "Muscle Machines" June 2010 Issue has a nice "Factory Fresh" 1970 Chevelle promotions 3 page article.

Re: For all you 1970 Chevelle Enthusiasts
Great stuff Dan, thanks for sharing. I notice the car has that "one of one" single overhead cam 600 HP in-line six. I've often wondered how the General could let that happen

No auction report this month, my favorite part...

Re: For all you 1970 Chevelle Enthusiasts
I've subscribed to many magazines through the years. Hemmings "Muscle Machines" is the absolute best publication.

This is the other photo (not used) in the "Supercar" ad where the Chevelle appeared to jump the chasm...

I have every single issue, but I wouldn't say it's the best out there. I think their Buyer's Guides have left me wanting for more accurate information . . . if you're going to use the pretense of a guide to aid people on future purchases, wouldn't it make sense to get it right? My favorite magazine is Collectible Automobile. |
Re: For all you 1970 Chevelle Enthusiasts

We all know what you meant......it`s not a V6, it`s a straight 6 banger. Dan |

Re: For all you 1970 Chevelle Enthusiasts
Yeah, I hear ya - even though it's a different magazine from before, I think MCR is the old reliable.

MCR and Musclecar Enthusiast get my money. Hemmings had too many issues with accuracy for my taste. Kind of wish I did not feel that way as they are pulling in some serious Pure Stock/ Fast coverage into their content. |
Re: For all you 1970 Chevelle Enthusiasts
I subscribe to all so it's neither here nor there. I just wish Tom Shaw was at the helm of one of them. . . . that being said, he does edit a magazine:
