Went to the local bar a month ago ,came home semi-fubared. I sat in the car and looked at the fire wall and figered a been can would hold better in a accident.

Re: My 34 Ford
That's a serious chop, Howie! It would have to be a blast to cruise around with a pack of Candy Cigarettes rolled up Milner-style in a white short-sleeve T-shirt while peering through that mailbox slot of a windshield!

Re: My 34 Ford

Hey goahead https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif [/ QUOTE ] OK, since you gave your permission, ............ First of all, the terms "Chopped" and "Dropped" take on a new meaning here. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif Not hammering on Howie with these pix because God knows we've all been victims of our own mistakes. I'm just glad that: 1. He's actually gonna get this car on the road, and 2. It didn't do any permanent damage to the car, or to the Big Dummy that owns it! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...by/baddeal.jpg http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...mby/whoops.jpg http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...by/toppass.jpg And one during the reconstruction ....... http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...umby/door2.jpg OK Howie, fill us in with the details. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif And a reminder; I DO know where the dropped 'n drilled axle is. |
Re: My 34 Ford
Damn....ain't it great to have friends. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Re: My 34 Ford
OK what I did was use my hoist to take the body off. I chained all four corners put the hoist thru the door area.
Got the body in the air, while in the air the body rolled off the hoist on to the floor and bent the hell out it. I now have it fixed!! The doors fit better than they did. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |
Re: My 34 Ford
The body was kinda twisted. I welded the back halve to the frame. Then pulled the front area up and side ways.
