1969 Nova 396/375 on eBay
I just found this on eBay. I appears to be the real deal.
Although it's not the best picture of the pad. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...ASS%3AUS%3A1123 |
Re: 1969 Nova 396/375 on eBay
It always seems that they can take great pictures of the trim tag and other closeups but when it comes to the block stamping they are always out of focus

Re: 1969 Nova 396/375 on eBay
this nova was listed on novas.net a few months ago, an indiana found car i believe, it must have been sold to the new owner who has listed the car on e-bay, i have about twenty pic's of the car sent to me by the previous owner, the pad stamping is legit, although a bit of a worry that the car is being turned so quickly, perhaps it's a bit too much for the current owner to take on https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: 1969 Nova 396/375 on eBay
Does anyone know what this car sold for from the owner that had it on Ebay?
|
Re: 1969 Nova 396/375 on eBay
I think the statement about no rust on the frame areas is a little off the mark, that aside the car does show a lot of the SS and BB details folks need to look for. It would be a major project and require a donor car for major sheetmetal parts...once that body and chassis are blasted there will be a lot more holes.
Have fun...wilma |

Re: 1969 Nova 396/375 on eBay
Pics of the engine pad can be tricky.
Focus - use the macro button (little flower on it), that helps a lot! Lighting - using natural lighting (no flash) is best. Best is a cloudy day, when it's soft light. You can also try lighting it with a trouble light and turning off the flash. If you do get a better pic of that pad, I'd be interested. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif Thanks! |
Re: 1969 Nova 396/375 on eBay
just to clarify, i give $5500 for the car on ebay, spent $200 or so going after it,i really don't want to lose any money on it. as for my wife, she helped me push it on the trailer, but was shaking her head the whole time! she's really cool about me and my cars, yes even the rough ones,i think she realizes we wont have to be insuring the immobile ones. i would like to thank you guys for not bashing my car because its so rough,it does deserve a little respect.

While the speculation market for cars is hard to determine, this would be a very good piece for someone with a collection that's looking for an uncommon color. Or someone who just wanted this as a cool keeper. Yes it's kinda rough, but far from unrestorable. Good luck on the sale. |
