Not a musclecar but, looking for help to locate...
 

My neighbor is looking to get into the collector car scene but has limited funds. He has his eyes set on a Volvo 1800 (I know) but, he's having a real hard time finding a solid car in his price range (up to $10,000).
Do you guys have any ideas where he might look to find such a car? Any help would be appreciated.

My neighbors kid just got an 1800es (the wagon) for $3000.00 on ebay. It arrived in the dark last night so I haven't seen it. They stopped making the 1800 because the vehicles could not conform to US safety standards.

There is a foreign repair shop next town over from me in Belmar. They had three of them there a few months ago with no plates, bet one could be bought for a reasonable price. Will try to take a drive by tomorrow or Monday depending on how many Bennys are infesting the area and get the name and number for the shop and pm it to you. A call can't hurt and it is not that terrible far from you.

That would be great; my neighbor works in the Lakewood area so he could stop by that shop and look at the cars in person. Thanks

I know where there is a red one sitting in Millville. I will stop by and see if it is for sale next time I am down there.

I was just wondering if you had a chance to get a look at those 1800's that you mentioned; my neighbor is very interested in any leads.

My neighbor located a car in Ronda, North Carolina that he may be interested in but, the seller has only provided 4 photos and is not being very accomodating with additional photos.
Does anyone live in that area and would you be willing to take some additional pictures of this car for him? My neighbor can contact the seller and make the arrangements; he just needs someone he can trust to take some decent pictures of the car before he makes the 10 hour drive to purchase this vehicle.
