Sycamore, IL show 7/26
 

Sycamore, IL annual car show Sunday 7/26, believe there is a cruise night on Saturday night. Route 64 and Route 23 in downtown Sycamore.

Pretty good show as usually several hundred cars show up from Chicago area and surrounding rural towns - many that are not normally seen.

I just noticed that the All Pontiac Show at the DuPage Expo is the same weekend (25th and 26th). And the Oswego Drag Days show is on Saturday the 25th. Gonna be a busy weekend.

There are a handful of us who will be cruising down Rt64 early morning on Sunday to go to the show. If anyone wants to tag along drop me an email, PM or whatever. Need to get there early to get a spot so we'll probably be meeting at 64 and Randall around 5:30am.

I'm about 30 minutes straight north of Sycamore - I'll see you there.

Do you know how early you can register? I agree about being there early if you want good spot on the main drag.

Not sure what time the start registration. For years we typically get there between 5 and 6.

i just talked to a Sycamore police officer about the show. they are NOT letting anyone park their cars on the main drag until 7:00 am. they've had people come as early as 4:00 am , park their cars and go home for awhile. making the out of towners upset. they will be towing cars off the street if the owners are not present. we'll see if they enforce it or not.

Here ya go. It was a beautiful day and a nice 1 hour + ride through the countryside. I never heard the final count but probably 1000 entries...cars/motorcycles.
