Track rental at GLD

For local midwesterners ARS Promotions will be renting Great Lakes Dragaway on May 8th 2009 for a day of high speed fun. We have been doing this several times a year for the past 6 years and many of the SYC members have found this to be a great reason to take a Friday afternoon off from their daily grind. We 'include' a DVD of the event for and t-shirt for all paid entries.

Always a bunch of Chevys that really go. We usually see Pete and Dru warm up before the SCR at our raceday. We welcome all SYC memebers.

All Spectators are free and 3M,J&R Automotive, and Mike Lippith from Big Shots will be displaying some of their new Products.We also have ordered 65 degrees and sunny for weather.

Thanks for posting those Kurt.

Even though my car performed well (9.59 @ 140), I know it will run a few tenths quicker than it did.

Dave and Amy at ARS set-up a great time and I look forward to more from them.

Thanks to all who came out for our first Race Day of the year. We will post a video trailer on Monday and expect the DVD to be available in two weeks. At that time we will give the locations of where you can pick one up. I have few 2X T-shirts left for anyone who wants one just e-mail Amy and we will get you one for $15 including shipping.

Had a great time ,trashed the front spoiler going on the trailer first thing in the morning . I'm glad the day got better from there. Dave does a real nice job putting the event together. I wasn't sure how ARS would know who is who,but sure enough I pulled in the tech line and Dave was waiting there .

July 3rd should be a sure thing , I might have to bring a 5:13 gear next time
