Here's a couple links to the Craigslist and Kiji Geek sites..
Search the sites of all citys at once!.

http://kijigeek.com/us/

http://craigslist.extads.com/

These are the US sites.. If you're in Canada or elsewhere, on the Kiji one at least you can click on your own country's flag to access your site..

Lets see what anyone can find now!.

Re:Heads Up Links

No links but looked at a 1971 Z28 today that someone might have interest in. Car is real as I saw originating dealer invoice as well as the POP and the owner says he has the buildsheet as well. Complete owner history with all 4 owners living within 50 miles of the originating dealer in central Iowa. Copper ext., saddle int., and white stripe Van Nuys car. Car has 46,000 original miles on it. It is a 4 speed car. Owner is not a numbers guy but lists the car as number matching. The carb and dist are not original but he says he has the original pieces including the smog gear. With a little bit of work this car could be a very nice driver and I think it is reasonably priced for today's market at $24,000. Car is straight and has good paint. I took a few pictures that I can share if someone is seriously intersted. Older fella that was pleasant and seemed like a straight shooter. It is a real Z and had all the telltale signs. I have nothing to do with the car but am happy to share the opportunity with others since the car needs a bit more work than what I was looking for.

Fella's name is Don and he can be reached at 515-795-3245.

Re:Heads Up Links

Just for clarification on the above '71 Z.... I did not check out numbers on this car so that would need to be verified if you choose. I would bet, though, that the block, intake, trans, and rear are original.

Re: Heads up links-- 63 Impala SS 409

Was getting some gas yesterday and a white 63 Impala SS pulled in with a for sale sign. It's a white coupe with black interior. Good driver. The guy said it's original motor and trans. If anyone is interested let me know and I 'll give you the guys contact info. I have no dog in the hunt on this...just passing info along....

I took some pics and the guy said his asking price is 35K. I get the feeling you could deal with him....If you want pics I'll email them to you since I'm not sure if they can be posted here. Cool looking car.

Re: Heads up links

I thought this was worth mentioning, cause three interested people have emailed already.
Although a very nice NOS air cleaner and with the REAL snorkel seam, this was exclusive to the 1971 Chevelle w/ZL-2 hood on the assembly line only, not the 1969 Z/28 camaro,396,COPO or ZL-1</u>,as his title/description states. Those used #6485233,234 &amp; 235 respectively.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=110492283591
Notice the later issued safety thermo-vac flame arrestor nozzle underneath,as well as the snorkels elongated length, both new for 1971.1972 used a different one as well,so this is a one year only air cleaner.
I emailed the seller this same info,so I hope anyone interested in this is aware before bidding too.

Re: Heads up links

"We always appreciate emails! The 233 and 234 air cleaners only fit L-48. The 235 air cleaner was for both Z/28 and Big Block cowl induction and superceded to this 891 air cleaner 9/1972. Yes, our GM parts does show this air cleaner fits 1971 Chevelle 454 as well. If you want a air cleaner for a 1000 point car, you will not be able to find a NOS one. Only the original ones from the assembly line were flat bottom...the rest came with the air filter ridge.- Thanks, Sam GRAFFZ"
