1972 Z/28 Nice #2 4-Speed

I thought that I'd post my Z/28 on here. I have it listed on ebay and it's a really nice #2 driver car that would be perfect for local cruise nights, track days, etc. Anywhere that you might not want to bring a trailer queen but still have fun. It's an original engine Z/28. I lowered the reserve to $26,500.00 and I just thought that I'd tip you guys off. Thanks SYC Ed https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif

Randy:

A friend of mine called me last year from Indy and he was looking to sell some of his cars. He had a Corvette that I used to own and while I was down there he showed me this car. It's pretty cool so, Ibrought it back home along with the Vette. The original carb was in the trunk, the exhaust system was bad, all the usual stuff but, I liked the car and the floors were awesome. So, I went through it about two months ago, got it dialed in and I put in on ebay thinking I'd make a couple of bucks. Well, that isn't going to happen cause I have $28,200.00 in the car and so, I thought I'd tell you guys before somebody stole it. Ed

One question Ed...where did the Camaro emblem on the trunk deck lid come from....according to Nasty Z28, a second gen Camaro website, that was a 1970 only item. Beautiful car!!

The car was painted when I bought it and yes that is a 1970 only emblem but, I think it looks cool on there. Thanks, Ed

Re: 1972 Z/28 Nice #2 4-Speed

The winning bidder is trying to secure financing for this car so, I don't think that's going to happen. I spoke with one of the previous owners (who wants the Z/28 back but unfortunately, lost his job. That's the reason that he sold it the first time) and I hope that he can put something together because I'd like to see the car go back to Portland. The under-bidder also wants the car but I'm pulling for the guy in Portland. In any event, it's going to a new home. Thanks again to SYC, Ed

Re: 1972 Z/28 Nice #2 4-Speed

Let me get this straight. The winning bidder does not have his financing in order and you don't think that he will get it done? When I wished you good luck on the Ebay thing this is why. Not to stir it up but why do people bid, then win, and then scramble to pay?? You should get your listing fees back from Ebay IMO. Hope it all works out.
