1968 Nova 4 sale
I need to sell the Ivory Gold 19,000 mile Nova I bought a few months ago. I just moved to a new place and also bought another 68 that is more along the lines of what I wanted. The Nova for sale is a 230 six cylinder with powerglide and 8.2 rear. As far as I can tell and from what others have said after looking at the car we believe it to be the original paint complete with all the factory blemishes you can stand... The interior and vinyl flooring is extremely nice with very little sun discoloring. The body has a few dings and scratches but needs no panels replaced. The only rust spot on the car is under the driver fender. The previous owner told me the car was parked in a warehouse in Birmingham,AL for several years and the building leaked directly onto the windshield on the driver side letting the water run down that side on the inside of the fender. He said they cleaned the stains from the continuous dirty water running onto the windshield. Underneath the car it has that film of rust that you can wipe off with your fingers but would need some detailing for shows. I think the car was stored in a garage without a concrete floor or under a car port. I need 11,000 for the car and feel that is a great price for the car weather you want to keep it original or buy it and pull the little motor... PM me or call my cell at (256) 508-1321. If I don't answer leave a message. I live around a bunch of Mountains and cell coverage here stinks...
Here is a link to some pictures of the car in the members section. poke here Here is a link to a thread about the paint. poke here Tommy https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
Re: 1968 Nova 4 sale
Here are some photos of the undercarriage. It is ugly but very solid and only surface rust, dirt, grease and grime... The bottom of the driver fender has a small rust issue but the passenger side is in great shape.

I'd have a hard time doing any 'alterations' to that car. I'll bet you'll be amazed at how that underside cleans up. Great car Tommy. I wish I had some cash. (And I know someone else who is very sad it isn't in her garage RIGHT NOW! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif ) |

I was trying to get a few more photos up but the Dell laptop has a overheating issue and photobucket seems to be the worst site for me to cut and paste from... I have a 5 minute window before the computer goes into meltdown.... Here are some more photos.

Some places under there lead me to believe someone may have pressure washed it at some point and other places look like 40 years of sitting under a car port or in a garage without a moisture barrier... Who knows .. I don't know who was more sad about not moving the car recently. She has to be one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Tommy https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
Re: 1968 Nova 4 sale
Couple of battle scars in the windshield.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/IM002982.jpg If anyone wants any more pictures please feel free to ask. Oh, I have put around 1500 miles on the car and haven't washed it yet so the paint is really dirty in all the pics... I think the mileage is about to hit 20,000 now.
