Colonial Chevrolet in Norfolk, Virginia
Anybody have any information on Colonial Chevrolet in Norfolk, Virginia?? I'm curious if there were any supercars sold out of there.. I believe there were some Yenko Dueces sold from there if it's the same dealership.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
I'm also looking for any old pictures of the dealership that someone could post and any old (late 60s/early 70s vintage) memorabilia such as front plates, plate frames, dealer badges, matchbooks etc... that someone might have for sale and or post pictures of.. I would greatly appreciate it.. Thanks SYC Rich https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |

And what are you up to Rich? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif At least one of our member's rides was a Colonial Chev. deliverd Deuce. Think there is at least one other Colonial Deuce on this board too. Joe - is that yours? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

My brother was there awhile back and took some pics. The dealership had some cool old pics of the place from back in the day that you'll find here:

Re: Colonial Chevrolet in Norfolk, Virginia
I used to live in Maryland and my buddies neighbor has a 6X,XXX mile 1968 H-2 Grecian Green black vinyl roof (711) ivory buckets SS/RS L-78 4spd that his late dad bought brand new at Colonial chevy. The car is all original paint except the pass side front fender. Its has the original MQ 3916323 block all numbers matching. Rear gears were swtiched from 4:10 to 4:88. He has original protecto plate/ window sticker and even payment book. Its such a neat car it has a day two feel has stewart warner gauges under dash mr gasket traction bars and rear diff cover. I have to get ahold of my buddy to see if the guy still lives near him. I tryed to buy the car several times no go.
