A 1973 "Rod Shop" Challenger
A friend of mine told me this car was for sale here in Sweden on www.blocket.se . They are asking slightly more than $20.000 for it without engine or transmission.
Built by Bruce Mehls it says in the swedish ad. Then raced first by Dave Boertman and later by Larry Morgan. http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/q...3289334613.jpg The owner, Robban, can be reached by calling +46763499663 |

Re: A 1973 "Rod Shop" Challenger
It doesn´t say Daniel. If anyone is interested I could give him a call and ask him.
I´m not surprised to read about a car like this in Sweden. Just like they were sold to Mexico and Canada, they were also shipped to Sweden, England, Germany and other countries. |
Re: A 1973 "Rod Shop" Challenger

Re: A 1973 "Rod Shop" Challenger
Talking of Rod Shop-cars. Going through some old magazines I found this "Eazy Ridin" Rod Shop Camaro in Colorod #2 1974. The pic is taken at the "Custom Car Show" Crystal Palace, London, England. It is told to be one of the new Pro Stock-cars brought to England by the new owner Pete Crane.

Copo Anders
Bob Bond from Shadyside Ohio built the Eazy Ridin Camaro..you can still see the words Shadyside after the Rod Shop logo which was a franchise he owned. Here is apic of his later race team..(notice the Rod Shop car hauler) and some earlier pics. Kuchinka Chevrolet was the local Chivvy dealer. |

Re: A 1973 "Rod Shop" Challenger
Rod Shop was on Livingston Ave ..here in Columbus Ohio ...its 2 miles away from my office ...as a kid I would go there with my dad. He lived across the street from Rod Shop when my parents divorced in '73 . I still see one of their old drivers..Tom..boy does he have some great race stories
