Your Favorite 69 Camaro Color?
 

I was just sitting here thinking about how I would set up a 69 Camaro if it were back in the day. Then I was thinking about colors. Was a pretty tough decision. Thought I would do a poll to find out what everyone else thought.

So if its 1969 and your ordering your new Camaro (whatever trim package, Z, SS, COPO, ZL1) what color do you choose?

I'd take a Frost Green/black stripe Z, black standard guts, endura bumper, black vinyl top, and no other options.

...Or maybe an L78, same trim combo, with painted steelies and soup bowl hubcaps.

Fathom Green with black stripes would be bad ass too...decisions, decisions....

This will be a fun poll, and I am quit sure it will be very different % wise compared to what was chosen back in the day. I see Black is getting up there, it was the least used colors.

I totally agree with you Mike, Dan's car is also an awesome car and that color combo would be my second choice! And what a great guy Dan is...was a privilege to actually meet him!

I had a Dusk Blue with blue standard int. back in the day. That's my fav. Sure wish that I owned a camera back in the 70's

Hmmm, I guess I'd go with LeMans Blue. Black stripes would be my choice as they give the color a different hue. Ed

Hey Cumby...I talked with a friend this past weekend about a COPO Camaro that his friend bought new from Dale Chev. It was a Frost Green black interior bare-bones 4-speed car...just like you like it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

FATHOM GREEN! But I gotta 'ya, when it came time to sell, I really had a big problem. When it comes to Camaros, everybody wants the "hot" colors like red, orange, and yellow. In fact, I actually had people hang the phone up on me when the car was for sale and I answered "green" when asked what color the car was. Olympic gold and Champaign(sic) are my next favorites. Give me the earth tones!

I'll also add that Ralley Green has became a favorite color as of lately (for me at least) and looks great with a White interior! It just screams "MUSCLECAR". On the same hand, that Mopar color Sassy Green or Lime Green just makes me ill to even look at. No offense to owners please.

I like the oddball colors so I voted for Butternut Yellow. Rally Green or Olympic Gold would be my second choice.
