Bob Dance of Indian River Chevrolet

Some of you may know but I just found out,Bob Dance who was a salesman at Indian River Chevrolet died in September. He was instrumental in all the High Performance Cars including 2 ZL1's and with a few copo's selling out of this small town dealership,he will be missed and remembered for his part in performance Chevrolet Style,

Bob Dance is listed as salesman on both my 69 ZL-1 #64 Hugger Orange and also my Cortez Silver COPO 4 speed. Both sold new to Bill Turner, (Turners High Performance) of Ft Meyers FL. Both have Endura Bumpers and Rosewood steering wheels, Bob had great taste in Camaros! He will be remembered.

There are at least 2 L-72 cars from this dealer, with consecutive vins no less.
This car was open trailered from Georgia to the SCRXI. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

Coincedently, this car was built 29 cars ahead of mine. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

----Went to spring break in Ft. Lauderdale in 1966 in my 66 427 Corvette. Had a great time, but just after leaving to go back to school I broke a valve spring. Pulled the valve cover and it still had the inner spring so I limped in to Indian River Chevrolet. Had to stay an extra night, but had a young beauty with me for the ride back so that worked out well. They treated me great (the dealer and the girl,,,LOL) and we were on the road by 2 the next day.....Bill S
