1970 Camaro Z-28 COPO

1970 Camaro Z-28 COPO, Citrus, auto. 22,000 miles! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif
This is a very very nice mostly original Z-28
The paint has been resprayed in some areas, notably the hood, and there is some slight enamel checking in some areas. I have thought about having Frank, Arone Autobody, repaint it over the years, but we both decided to leave it as is.
The paint looks great, and I am probably over describing.
The engine bay has been detailed years ago, and looks great!
I was told all original drivetrain when I bought it, and I have never even checked! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
I will upload high resolution digital photos(part#'s and stampings)from lift, tonight to my fotki album.

I have not started her in over a year, and she started right up for me today on the first try....three or four pumps and a turn!!

I hate to throw the term survivor around, and I do own a couple , but this car is pretty darn close.

This car is the real deal, no stories, Z28 as evidenced by the trim tag. There is no paperwork to prove it is a COPO spoiler car, but Phil Borris, our resident 70 Copo expert, has known about this car for years and has sent me tons of information. I think he may have even started a 70 Copo registry. I will include close ups as well of the copo spoiler, but without an original window sticker, there is no way to prove the copo option for sure.
This car is priced fairly at 39,900 obo and comes with a money back guarantee if not 100% satisfied.

I will upload three or four re-sized pictures below, and provide a fotki link later tonight for high resolution, and macro digital shots of paint, engine, #'s, interior and undercarriage, etc etc.
Thanks SYC!

Brian Henderson, Frank Arone and Kenny Pascoe have seen and know my car. They can probably give a qick pm to anyone that may be interested, and I would reccomend any of them for a full detailed inspection if that interests you.

Thanks everyone!
Randy, they have a really cool forum on this site called member rides. You should send bruce some pictures of your car, and all of the things you like about it and have them do a feature on it.
Then I can chime in, and tell everyone how I prefer automatics https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

My own personal preference is a 4 speed but that's just my preference.... from what I see here someone is going to get a very very nice can and again I wish you luck with the sale!

Engine Id # is VO629CTC
How does that decode?
There is no vin # before the engine #.
Should it be there? The oil filter location didnt look like it had a vin either.

My Norwood 70 R/S Z-28 is also a 07E build, with a 590277 VIN #. My engine assy is stamped V0729CTB.

Interesting with no explanation how your V0629CTC M-40 engine was assembled and waited approx one month for a body........while mine was installed with 24-48hrs after it was assembled ??????????

Go figure ???

It usually comes down to something as simple as which end of the engine storage rack was the closest to the assembly line. You could have had a couple months worth of engines on the racks and the line guys wouldn't care anything about which engine was loadad on that rack first.
