That is sharp. What's Cato-Walsh Co.? [/ QUOTE ] Cato_walsh was a Chrysler dealer here years ago. I found that sign in the attic of the Chev-Buick Pontiac dealership when I bought their signs off the building. The Chrysler industrail marine engine sign was actually found inside a wall. It is painted boards. |
Re: 69 RS SS
Nice car, Charley. It does look good with redlines. I like the vinyl top, you couldn't remember if it had one or not.
|
Re: 69 RS SS
There are so few 1969 Camaros that came from the factory with a cowl induction hood. Talk about a neat car, I bet this camaro is even more impressive in person. Can we see more of your cars in this section please?

Re: 69 RS SS
Congrats, nice piece! Whoever ordered this car really knew what they were doing. The final sticker price was a nice chunk of change back in the day.
|
Re: 69 RS SS
Good score ... cool options/colors.

Re: 69 RS SS
Charlie that is a beautiful car. Well done.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
Just holler if you want to trade for a 70 L78. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif |
Re: 69 RS SS
Nice Charley,
The Inducted Hood is great but I'm focusing on the V75 Liquid Tire Chain Option! Looking at the amount of options makes me think this had to one of the most loaded Camaros ever assembled. Enjoy it for the rest of us. Dave |
Re: 69 RS SS
Nice car. Buy my blue light stereo 'case yours ever breaks....
|
Re: 69 RS SS
The blue light is missing. Has some aftermarket one in it. I might have one in my pile somewhere.
|
Re: 69 RS SS
Awesome car - so many rare options! I don't think I've ever seen orange interior on anything but a Pace car. Very cool! And just in time for Halloween...you need to take that thing out Trick-or-Treating! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
Shop ain't too shabby either! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif |
Re: 69 RS SS
I like that red stripe tires are on the window sticker. I think they go great with the orange paint.
|
Re: 69 RS SS
Yikes....don't think I've ever seen a Chevrolet product that needed two window stickers to list all the options https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif
|
Re: 69 RS SS
Nice...I had a 69 z/28 same color combo but with white vinyl top and white stripes.
|
Re: 69 RS SS
Charlie, fantasic car! Is there a date on the window sticker or other docs? The pic is a little fuzzie, but it looks like this car is 300 cars past mine. L5303xx. I am pretty sure both cars were made after the strike at VN right before the plant closed. Was you car built in June or July? It looks like they crammed all the leftover options on one car! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif But very nice score!
|
Re: 69 RS SS
No date on the sticker. It is a 05A car on the trim tag. It didn't sell until April 7 1970. That is as large a pic of the sticker that I could post. I can email them to someone that has a hosting account in order to post larger readable pics.
|
Re: 69 RS SS
great car!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Re: 69 RS SS
I downloaded it and blew it up, it's pretty amazing to read all the options.
|
Re: 69 RS SS
Charlie, my car is 05A too, What is the LA code? Mine is A208. I have a hosting site, you can send them to me, email is in my name link.

Re: 69 RS SS
Cool car Charley. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

So send me the pics already! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Re: 69 RS SS
Incredible car! And the only known documented NK1 Cushioned Rim Steering wheel ever installed on a 69 Camaro! Up until this car, it was thought that no Camaros ever had that steering wheel installed. Add to that the Vigilite and Liquid Tire Chain, power windows, ZL2, etc. I have only seen 1 other 69 with a 2 page window sticker.

Here are the pics from Charlie! Large size!

Re: 69 RS SS
Great photos of the window stickers. I just noticed it is the same dealer my car is from! My car is also Hugger orange, ZL2 hood, Endura bumper, Vigilite, Houndstooth, etc., but my car is O4A build. WOW!
|
Re: 69 RS SS
Charlie, sorry about the extra pic. I did not hear from you, so I figured you wanted it.
Here is the numbers (which dont make any sense) VIN 334 cars different, body number 6693 diifference, LA code (based on 210 car per period) 582 difference. I think we need more data points https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/laugh.gif |
