Part # 465220 is still available through GM. I think it should be but I do not know if this is correct for your application. Goodluck

That's the much later new world released version.
Originally they used the #3974251 pan on the line during 1968-73 production.It was soon superceded by the #360009 pan,and that was superceded by the #465220.
I know a guy who has two original #251's NOS,but he once told me he'd only sell them if the stock market were to have a tremendous fall out.



I should give him a call tomorrow..

Mr 70, What are the visual/cosmetic differences for the born with #251 pan and the newer #220 replacement. On the engine, installed in the 70 Z-28 what are the noticeable differences........

I don't know the differences in the different design/number changes throughout the years.Jack would be a very good person to contact and with pictures to boot.

I called on the pans and he said he sold them when gas went over $4.00 earlier this year.Won't disclose to whom,but says I know him.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

Curious if this advertisement is accurate wrt this gm restoration part being correct for BOTH '69 and '70?
